I Racconti del grano is an Italian taralli and treccine brand that’s holds the classic Italian value of sharing tradition and flavour by making and selling quality products at a reasonable price (la qualita al giusto prezzo!). The companies roots stretch back to when taralli were all handmade in the villages by female artisans who would painstakingly craft each taralli, traditionally for Easter. Today taralli are eaten all year round and are generally served as a stuzzichino (an appetiser) either on their own or with cheese and smallgoods. These crisp scented biscuits hail from Puglia, a region in Italy famous for its agriculture, specifically wheat, wine and olives. All three of these products are used in the creation of this famous and tasty Pugliese snack. The flour, white wine and olive oil are mixed to make a simple dough, formed into rings or treccine ( twisted breadsticks) and are briefly simmered and then baked until golden. I Racconti del grano’s Tarallini and Treccine products contain a four different varieties, these include: fennel, sesame, cheese & pepper as well as chilli.
